A mistake that most make, but can cost your ads or even your business

Not only is this a mistake for ads, but also for your business.

What is it?

You are advertising your product or service, not the benefit

People want the benefit of the product/service.

Let’s take an example, you have a toothache, you go to the dentist, and he is like, “We have this new machine, the no pain 3000” 

You would be like, “I don’t care about the machine’s name, I care that you get rid of my pain”

You didn’t go to the dentist because they have the medicine, no, you are there because of the benefit from the machine.

Here is another example: you go to the doctor looking for a cure, not to talk about your problem.

So what does this mean for ads and business?

Don’t fall crazy in love with your product/service.

No one cares how the house is built as long as they get a house in the end

I will give another example, let’s say you sell installation, so you wouldn’t get a sale by saying our new installation is really good, you won’t get many sales.

But if you said you will save X% a year on bills, then people will buy.

Remember to sell the benefit.
