Common mistake that is burning your ad spend
Facebook advertisements can have unlimited potential for your business, but unless you know what you are doing, they can be a waste of money.
I understand that at the start, it is overwhelming with all these numbers and words you are unfamiliar with.
You are not the only one in this boat.
Facebook knows this, which is why when you start a campaign, you have the option to set it up manually or to click on the optimised campaign.
The optimised campaign will say something like 10% less cost per result.
DON’T CLICK THE OPTIMISED CAMPAIGN!
The number of people who click it because they think, “I don’t know what I’m doing,” and “that number seems promising” is insane.
Don’t fall for it, what Facebook is actually doing when you click on the campaign is they are wasting your money.
How do they waste my money?
They turn on settings that make your ads perform worse, like text enhancements.
What do text enhancements do?
It moves your main text, heading and description around so your main text could be your description.
That’s not good because you have your text set up in order.
You are not even told that this is happening, and if you want to turn it off, you need to go through some hoops just to make the button appear.
DON’T CLICK OPTIMISED CAMPAIGN, IT’S NOT WORTH IT.
Unless you like to waste money.
